Patent Information Centre (PIZ)

The Patent Information Centre holds a collection of all German and European patents as well as German utility models. The patents may be inspected in Bldg. 32 (side entrance). Patent searches are made upon request.

Photocopying Machines

Photocopying machines are available in all Campus Libraries. The copy machines are either coin operated or require a "Chipkarte" as a debit card. Credit can be transferred to the "Chipkarte" at the vending machines in the cafeteria and at the Service Point (Bldg. 34). Please observe copyright provisions.

Purchase Recommendations

If you have a book, journal or other item to recommend for purchase by the University Library make your suggestion at the Circulation Desk or see “Ask a Librarian” and “Ideas, Suggestions and Recommendations”. Suggestions are welcome and will be forwarded to the appropriate subject librarian for consideration. All recommendations are subject to library selection policies.
