Reference Collection
The Central Library’s reference collection includes general bibliographical and biographical reference works, encyclopedias, dictionaries, address books and academic catalogues of German and international universities. The collection is arranged according to subject and is located in the open access area and in the closed stacks. The entire reference collection is listed in the University Library’s online catalogue. Important reference works and subject bibliographies in print form can also be found in the Department Libraries. The library also offers various electronic reference works (online or as CD-ROM) and databases which can be accessed through the Database-Information-System (DBIS). Access to the databases is possible in the Central Library, the department libraries or via the campus network.
Reference Management Program
Citavi is an efficient reference management program for study, teaching and research, acquired by the TU for its students and faculty members. Further Information can be found on the RHRK ‘s website.
Registration
TU University Campus Libraries are open to the students, faculty and staff of the University as well as to the general public. Registration is required. Students and faculty members must provide a valid TU "Chipkarte", students and faculty members of the University of Applied Sciences a valid "CampusCard" and visitors a valid photo identification card. Registration is free of charge for students and faculty members of the TU and the University of Applied Sciences. Visitors are required to pay a fee of €8.00.
Special service for students: To make registration easier and avoid delays, complete, print and present the online PDF-form at any Campus Library Circulation Desk.
Research Assistance
Subject librarians offer research assistance upon request.
Reserve Availability
Patrons will be notified by e-mail when requested reserved materials are returned and available for pick-up.
Reserve Request
Library materials currently on loan may be reserved for personal use through the OPAC – online catalogue. Use the reserve button to place your request or ask for assistance at the Circulation Desk of any Department Library.
RHRK
