E-Books

E-books are generally parallel editions of printed books in electronic form. The e-books licensed by the University Library may be accessed only from computer workstations connected to the TU Kaiserslautern campus network.
For University students, faculty and staff members with an RHRK account:
Remote access to the e-book collection is only possible with a VPN client. To install a VPN client follow the directions found on the RHRK website. Use the links "Netz & Telefonie" (network and telephone connections), "Netzanschluss" (network connections), "VPN Zugang" (VPN access) and "Von zu Hause ins LAN der TU KL" (Access to the TU Kaiserslautern LAN from home). Please note:  When installing a VPN client choose the profile "TU Kaiserslautern".
The full texts may only be saved and /or printed for private use and teaching, research and curricular needs.
The systematic downloading of articles and search results, especially with the use of robots, is prohibited.
Articles in neither electronic nor print form may be passed on to a third party.
