Types of delivery

  • Journal articles are delivered by fax, mail or - if possible - electronically
  • Books are delivered by mail and must be returned to the supplier library at the end of the loan period
    (The University Library does not accept subito book returns. Please arrange book renewals with the supplier library.)

Delivery Timeframe

  • Standard service: maximum of three workdays (Saturdays excluded)
  • Express service: one workday (Saturdays excluded)


The subito document delivery service involves a fee. The fee varies according to user group, type of delivery, journal title etc. The exact price of an order is calculated during the ordering process and is stated on the order form before you submit your order.

Express delivery

There is the possibility to order within 24 hours.

The Kaiserslautern University Library will do the ordering for you. Use the KLUB direct order form to place your request.
