TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and IOP Publishing have signed a transformative agreement to provide an easy solution for open access publishing to universities and research institutions across Germany.

The university library is participating in this agreement, meaning that research accepted for publication by corresponding authors at your institution will be published on an open access basis without any additional costs.

Key benefits:

  • Term of contract from 2022 until 2024.
  • Includes Open access publishing option for corresponding authors of TU Kaiserslautern.
  • Includes more than 70 journals.
  • Letters, papers, reviews and special issue articles are all eligible.
  • Articles will be identified, automatically included and published under a CC-BY license at no cost to you.
  • For some journals there may be additional costs for colour images or page charges, which remain payable by the corresponding author.
